Above, the cisterns of Carthage.
Above, items collected in the Antiquarium of Carthage are shown; below, the ruins of the Baths of Antoninus are shown. Construction commenced under emperor Hadrian (r. 117-38) and finished under his successor, Antoninus Pius (r. 138-61), hence their name. Today, “but” the basement remains:
