Another postcard sent to the Neulandschule’s Anna Ehm from Basrah in 1962, and the Iraqis are writing that they’re learning German at the Goethe Institute.

Karbala’s Al-Abbas Shrine (Wikipedia), with my translation of the text below:
Baghdad, 1974, Dec. 12. You must see this “hamlet” to believe it. The circumstances are magnificent.
Note that the above postcard shows Karbala’s Al-Abbas Shrine, was written in Baghdad, Iraq, and actually mailed from Kritzendorf, which is a small suburban dwelling north of Vienna.
