There's plenty of these all over Dalmatia, many of which hail back to the late or high Middle Ages.
Among my personal favourites are the churches of the Holy Cross and St Nicholas in Nin (Italian: Nona), a small town, which once upon a (long, long) time used to be a royal town, in the vicinity of Zadar (Zara):
